Let's normalize it for a moment...
(Read more to dive in...)
There isn't something "wrong" with you for struggling in the chaos of life and:
🌀numbing out, feeling anxious or depressed
🌀feeling worn down, burned out, overwhelmed
🌀not having “ideal” (or even functional) relationship, friendships, family
🌀not feeling good enough or having “positive” thoughts about your life or yourself
TRAUMA HAPPENS (on so many levels)... massive shifts, loss, change, shock... and:
•We can't come close to processing it at the time. We may feel like we have little to zero tools to work with it.
•We're doing our best, but sometimes it feels like pummeling waves, 🌊 drowning, being totally lost.
...And this, in my humble (but extremely informed) opinion, is...👇🏻
You are learning at warp speed CONSTANTLY- we are on an epic learning curve in the game of life.
It doesn't quit. Time goes, the earth spins, we keep on. 🌎
But I don't see this as bad, wrong, hopeless AT ALL.
❤️ I see a deeper need for support, understanding, validation, tools
AND L O V E.
🙋🏼♀️ So hello, friend. I see you. I love you. It's ok to struggle- this is all part of our life experience.
❤️ But you're still valid, worthy, and getting it right. You're figuring it out, just like the rest of us. And no one knows. We’re learning, coming to know, and then not knowing all over again. It’s a journey of awakening and falling back asleep.
✨My best advice is to be the friend to yourself that you've always wanted in another...
• Give yourself the best, most loving advice.
• Be your ride or die, seriously.
The external roller coaster 🎢 of life won't stop, but your inner world can stay steady with the genuine love and compassion you give yourself. You need it; you deserve it.
And if you need help along the way, I’m here.
Photo 📷: me totally crushed with awful grief circa 2017. But I’m still here, expanding, showing up to life, giving love, helping you, loving me. ❤️
