The Process of Letting Go
Safe to say we all struggle with the process of letting go.
Some of us avoid making connections because we're afraid of getting hurt or being abandoned.
Some of us cling dearly to what we have and just the idea of losing it makes us fall apart.
We stay too long. We leave too early.
We hold on too tight. We let go too soon.
We deny things are ending. We don't know how to start again.
How do we actually "let go" of something? How do we know when we've done it?
Letting go is a natural process but that doesn't mean it's intuitive or easy.

What Does Letting Go Mean?‣‣ Have you ever tried to let something go only to feel like it lingered more?
What does it really mean to let go? ‣‣ It's helpful to acknowledge, too, what we can and can't control. This video can give you some guidance on creating space to gain clarity. |

Natural Cycles + Letting Things Happen‣‣ There is a natural order to things- a cycle of beginning, middle and end. Can you tell where you are in that cycle?
‣‣ It was VERY helpful for me while studying Chinese medicine to learn about the natural order of things, of cycles and seasons and yin and yang. I talk about that in the podcast that follows. ‣‣ When we can get a sense of where we are it can become easier to make decisions, let go, move on. |

What's Holding You Back?‣‣ What are you holding on to? What are you resisting? What truths might you be avoiding in order to stay comfortable, in denial?
‣‣ We're not ready until we're ready. Things aren't over until they're over. Yes, there is definitely a timing to things. But we can also choose comfort over growth. What are you choosing currently? How do you feel about it? Only you know what is right for you. |

Starting Again + New Beginnings‣‣ Starting over, starting "again," leaving the darkness of loss and moving on to the dawn of a new time... it can be the most difficult transition. It's literally like birth (rebirth).
‣‣ This is how things happen here on earth, and you are no exception. Everything comes to life, lives and dies endlessly: relationships, ideas, seasons, and so on. ‣‣ There is always something new waiting for you. Everything you've experienced has prepared you for something bigger, greater, more beautiful. Are you ready for it? Do you want it? How can you let it in? |
