Is This Mine? ‣‣ All too often we are carrying the thoughts, feelings, opinions and reactions of others. It weighs us down, confuses us, and separates us from our truth, happiness and well-being.
‣‣ An important question to start asking yourself is, "is this mine?" When you feel out of sorts, anxious, depressed, overwhelmed, ask it. ‣‣ Create a daily practice of releasing the energies you may be carrying that aren't yours. Think of it as your daily cleanse. Eventually it'll become so natural to you that you won't have to think about it. |

Being in Your Own Energy‣‣ Get really familiar with your own energy, how it feels to be YOU. The clearer you can sense and know yourself, the easier it is to tell when you're taking on other/external energies and non-truths.
‣‣ Developing a daily routine of connecting with yourself through meditation, mindfulness practices, journaling and whatever else helps you feel at home in yourself is crucial. |

Setting Boundaries + Self-Care ‣‣ We all speak of setting boundaries. What does it mean? How do you do it? How do you know you're doing it?
‣‣ To me, boundaries are a felt experience. You know they're in place because a) you feel coherent and embodied, b) you feel connected to yourself, and c) you're aware of what you're taking in and sending out. ‣‣ It's so important that you find ways of creating boundaries for yourself that help you feel free and empowered vs protective and defensive. ‣‣ There are many practices, modalities and therapies that can help you build a strong bond with yourself, your energetic field and your spirit (like acupuncture!). |

Remember...You Are Not a Victim ‣‣ It can be overwhelming, confusing and even damn near debilitating to have empathic abilities. It can compromise your health, mind and relationships, yes. BUT that doesn't mean you're a victim!
‣‣ We ALL have gifts and strengths- superpowers, if you will. But it is up to us personally to learn how to use them. That can be quite the journey... but when was self-cultivation easy, anyway? ‣‣ Imagine being able to use this gift of yours to the highest degree while maintaining balanced health, mind and body. You can, and you've got this. |
